This Thursday (in time for the 4th of July in the US) is Season 3 of Stranger Things. We are pretty sure you already hyped and all caught up on Seasons 1 & 2 but if you haven’t and a fan of all things 80s then get binging straight away.
2In Cinemas
Out in Cinemas this week is…. well technically it’s Spider-Man: Far From Home which came out on Monday. If you haven’t checked it out yet you can check out our spoiler-free review but really just go see it. It’s really good.
But if you are still looking for something awesome to go see there is plenty of retro cinema happening across the country this week but our pick for a Sugar High is Empire Records at the Metro Arts Cinema thanks to Kristen Fletcher Events in Brisbane.
3Stuff To Go Do
This week in Adelaide is our favourite Anime and Video Game Con – AVCon! Held annually in Adelaide and first starting as an event in 2002 this is one of the largest and biggest non-for-profit community events in Australia. Covering everything from Gaming to Cosplay to Anime and all things Pop Culture if you are in Adelaide this weekend you need to get to this event.
AVCon is not the only event happening around the country with School Holidays going on you can also look forward to events like GeekFest 2019 in Coal Creek, Victoria or CoffsLan gaming event in Coffs Harbour. We love events like these held outside the capital cities and they can only get bigger with your help and support so make sure you check out ones near you this weekend.
