Product Review: Warhammer Age of Sigmar Malign Sorcery

This box is reminiscent of Warhammer Battle Magic circa 1992. It has some nostalgic value right there evenbefore opening the box and looking at its contents.

The box consists of the Malign Sorcery book, 13 endless spell miniatures, assembly guide, and a full set of Warscroll cards. While not as elaborate as Soul Wars, there are still some nice touches like the ziplock bag that holds the sprues.

The miniatures are pretty great, and the sprues are coloured in this set. Even without a single dab of paint, miniatures such as the Purple Sun of Shyish look amazing the moment they are assembled.

The expansion book contains about 40 pages of additional content for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. There is a lot more here than just the endless spells. That being said, the endless spells are an awesome drawcard in themselves.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Malign Sorcery is available now.
