[preamble] But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
Beginning the week with the sequel to the 3rd person shooter/fighter – Remnant. Coming out for PlayStation first on Monday and for Xbox, via Steam + the Epic Store on Wednesday, this is a solo or coop affair letting you fight against humanoid, non-humanoid and fantastical creatures with gunplay and meele weapons. Think the Witcher but with guns and friends.
On Thursday the original side scrolling beat em up returns with Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons coming for PlayStation, the Switch and Steam before coming to Xbox on Friday. This one is pretty basic if you have never heard of it as you play one of two brothers who beat up thugs, while you can play solo Double Dragon is best played coop.
And on Friday and only for Nintendo Switch owners is the release of Disney Illusion Island. We say this as part of a Nintendo Direct a while back but basically it is like Super Mario 4 player but with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald in their early appearance style (but in colour).
Honourable Mention: And our honourable mention this week goes to a Telltale Game with the continuation of The Expanse. Playing through in that traditional story based decision driven game play this one follows the Expanse Show and not the books and done in collaboration with the series creator. It comes for PlayStation on Wednesday, via the Epic Store on Thursday and for Xbox on Friday.
