Grand Theft Auto hits a 3rd generation of consoles, new Final Fantasy for the 35th Anniversary and something a little more zen is what you have to look forward to for your gaming week this week. But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
Starting off a light week with something a little heavy is Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Coming out first for PlayStation on Monday (with it being available for Xbox and via the Epic Store on Saturday) this is not a prequel or a sequel but rather an action heavy spin-off to tie in with the 35th anniversary of the series. Coming from Team Ninja and not Square Enix, expect something a little different.
Wednesday comes the big title for the week with Grand Theft Auto officially being released for 3 generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles. There is not much to say here except it’s the GTA you know just updated to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X hardware (and GTA Online too which we cannot object to).
Honourable Mention: And our honourable mention this week goes to Onde coming out for Steam this Friday. A puzzle platformer with a difference Onde has you riding sound waves for something a bit zen against a artistic backdrop.
