If you are looking for something to stay indoors this week and Season 5 of Arrested Development on Netflix (on Friday) is not on your watch list then from Thursday Foxtel will be airing Xena: Warrior Princess. Starting from season one, get your Lucy Lawless/Sam Raimi fix every weeknight from 6:30 PM.

Everything is Awesome in Cinemas (and selected outdoor/rooftop cinemas) this week with The LEGO Movie 2 out across Australia. Picking up directly after the first movie you can check out our full spoiler-free review later this week.
Also in cinemas, we want to give a shout out to McFlyFest at the Ritz Cinema in Sydney. It’s all Back to Future with the entire trilogy playing back to back on the big screen this Sunday.

Looking to head out this week? Kicking off for 2019 is MadFest Anime Festival in Sydney this weekend. Touring the country throughout the year Sydney is first with everything anime culture and brought to you by Madman.
If you are closer to Canberra than Sydney you might already be heading to Goulburn Comic Con at the Goulburn Mulwaree Library on Saturday. We love cons outside the capital cities so make sure you support this one if you are near so it can bigger and better every year!
If you are hunting that hard to find toy or collectable then you might want to checkout the Rockingham Intergalatic Stock Exchange just south of Perth on Sunday. Cosplay is not only welcome but encouraged.
