While we loved getting more info on Battlefront II during E3, we can’t say the prequels were our favourite part of Star Wars. Lucky for us on Sunday morning EA held a special event focused on something we are definitely looking forward to, Epic Space Battles.
The full event was held via stream but a game play trailer was already made available with a mixture of in-game engine rendered cut scenes and clearly defined actual game play. While we did love the first (but not original) Battlefront, we always felt a little cramped in fighter squadron missions it looks like the new game wont have anywhere close to that feel.
The trailer is still a trailer and you do need to take it with a grain of spice, we can’t help but think this feels just a little bit familiar with the Battlefront VR mission with getting up close and personal with Star Destroyers. You can watch the full game play trailer for yourself below:
But what do you think? Are you excited for Battlefront II? Are you still grinding away for all the weapons on Battlefront hoping your progress will clock over somehow? Do you refuse to acknowledge any version of Battlefront except for the original pre-current gen editions? Tell us in the comments down below!
Battlefront II is set for release later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 17.
