E3 is but a faint memory but from today the big 3 are making their play for your wallets ahead of their end of year major releases.

From today you will be able to get massive savings on some back catalogue titles across Steam, PlayStation Plus and on Xbox One S.

Leading off we have something for PlayStation Plus subscribers. During the Days of Play sale which is still going on a number of back catalogue games got a pretty healthy discount as a tie-in for E3 (like Star Wars Battlefront + all the DLC for $12) but if you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber from today some of those same titles will receive a double discount meaning some titles are up to 70% off. These sale prices were available in the US during E3 but from today until the 5th of July, we in Australia get them too.

These sale prices were available in the US during E3 but from today until the 5th of July, we in Australia get them too. Oh and if you don’t have PlayStation Plus, don’t forget it’s on sale too if you want to do the math for savings on a particular title after factoring in the free Battlefront you get with a 12-month subscription.

Following that, we have the big one, the Steam Summer Sale. The Steam Summer (Mid-year) Sale is probably responsible for more piles of shame than we would like to think about but it just has so much sweet sweet PC gaming goodness on offer for great prices. Savings go up to 70% on some titles so if there was a game you missed which you really wished you played maybe take a browse.

And not to be left out if you were thinking about a Xbox One S after checking out our everything you need to know about the upcoming Xbox One X, Microsoft is giving these away via their store (and some retailers) by knocking off $100 bringing the price under $300. While a good deal by itself the 500GB bundle also comes with a 14 day Xbox Live Gold subscription which would also get you access to the Gold subscription sales on back catalogue titles (if you aren’t going to just sign up for their Netflix for games option).

These are all the sales on back titles going on right now, but what do you think? Is there a hidden gem in here like 40% off Superhot? Is your pile of shame too big to think about this? Are you saving up for an upcoming title and don’t want the temptation? Tell us in the comments below!
