Microsoft announced today the rollout of its new Xbox subscription service, called Xbox Game Pass.
The details of Xbox Game Pass sound rather similar to Sony’s own PS Now service, wherein players can pay a small fee each month to have unlimited access to a large library of streamable games, not unlike Netflix for video games.
However, Microsoft’s streaming service gives players access to games from last generation AND this one, unlike Sony’s service, which only has PS3 games ready to be played. Furthermore, PS Now is still unavailable to Australian gamers, whereas Xbox Game Pass will be available to all Xbox players across the globe from June 1st, with a monthly price of $10.95 AU.
