What’s your name & how old are you? Ami Louise, 25.
How long have you been cosplaying? I did my first cosplay when I was 17. However, I have only been committed to costume creation and regular content for around six months.
Photo by Kitt PhotographyWhat inspired you to start cosplaying? The series of manga called ‘Death Note’. I picked up the manga from Shin Tokyo in Adelaide and was instantly hooked! From there my love of anime and pop culture grew… loving characters wasn’t enough, I wanted to be them!
What was your First Cosplay? Miss Amane!
What is your most recent cosplay? The beautiful Ms. Marvel!
What cosplays are you currently working on? I am planning on cosplaying Ariel next (The Little Mermaid). I will also make costumes for my Chihuahuas, who will become Sebastian and Flounder.
Who are your favourite cosplayers in the community? Gabby of Hyde and Seek Cosplay – This girl is an absolute badass. I am so inspired by her work and absolutely in love with how perfectly she embodies Wonder Woman as a character.
Jennifer of Cataclysm Cosplay – I first saw her Widow Maker cosplay and my mind was blown. Her attention to detail is absolutely amazing and I have been following and fangirling ever since!
Gabi of Little Lace Doll Cosplay – Gabi is so cute, authentic and absolutely beautiful. She

Who else do you want to cosplay? I definitely want to cosplay Atomic Wonder Woman from Infinite Crisis… mostly because I want to make her giant chainsaw prop!
Tell us an odd fact about yourself! I like to name my dogs after Mexican food… (naturally). I have two Chihuahuas, Taco-Belle and the Big Burrito.
