And we are on the final day of SDCC. The final day is normally the smallest day for announcements with there often being the day with more details for a lot of big Hall H panels from the Saturday afternoon, but with no big Hall H panels with new stuff this years SDCC does lack a little… oomph. So lets just cover the notables for the final day of SDCC 2025.
Movies
- Not a Movie but George Lucas arrived at SDCC in a rare appearance to announce his new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art
- James Gunn when naming projects that are moving forward at DC Studios cut off before giving an update on The Authority when listing projects that were moving forward
Television
- A second trailer for the IT: Welcome to Derry series dropped for HBO Max
And that is about it.
While there was still a bit of stuff announced over SDCC which you can check our Day Zero, Day One and Day Two recaps for everything else mentioned this SDCC. We have had lean SDCCs before but with D23 and DC Fandom this could mean a change for SDCC but we are going to find out for sure when it happens.
