We are now over halfway through SDCC and while it is definitely one of the more mild SDCC with a lot of panels and events for already announced movies and TV there was still a few things dropping and first looks at stuff we know was on the way (like MTG Spider-Man). There is still one day to go which usually goes more deep dive into previously announced stuff but there is only one way for you to know outside of being there and if you missed out our Day Zero and Day One recaps make sure you check those out.
Movies
- The saved Coyote vs ACME film is heading to global cinema release in August 2026
- The first 5 minutes of Project Hail Mary got shown in Hall H
- Air Bud if you didn’t know there have been 14 Air Bud movies then you are going to be really surprised that a 15th Air Bud movie is coming
Television
- Peacemaker took prime Hall H position and also dropped a Season Two got a new trailer ahead of it’s August premiere on HBO Max
- Star Trek Strange New Worlds had a very felt like SDCC Exclusive clip from Season 4
- And the Star Trek: Discovery timeline Spin-off show Star Trek Academy coming in 2026 got a trailer too
- Not really TV but still streaming – a Star Trek: Khan podcast serial is coming
- Family Guy is getting a Halloween special ‘A Little Fright Music’
- Spartacus: House of Ashur got a teaser from STARZ
- AMC’s Interview with a Vampire series is getting a name change for Season 3 to ‘The Vampire Lestat’
- AMC also dropped a teaser for Talamasca: The Secret Order about a secret watcher order
Comics
- Jonathan Hickman’s Ultimate Spider-Man is ending with #24 leading into Ultimate Endgame
- Absolute Wonder Woman scored best new series at the 2025 Eisner Awards with Santos Sisters getting best ongoing series
- The Skybound/Image/Hasbro Energon Universe has been building to it but the Energon War is coming with a SDCC Teaser Trailer
Gaming
- While the Aliens: Earth panel happened at SDCC Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition got a new trailer as it gets a update for the latest gen consoles including the PS5 Pro
- Scott Pilgrim EX will be getting a physical edition release in September and there was some gameplay shown
Collectibles
- You can now preorder wave 3 of the X-Men 97 Marvel Legends figures
- Hot Wheels x Transformers were also spotted at SDCC
- Super7 have a popup at SDCC but have also put some of their limited run items on an online store
And that is Day Two (SDCC Saturday) all done. Definitely one of the more tame SDCCs with Superman and Fantastic Four releasing in the weeks prior has made for a lot more chill SDCC.
