FANTASTIC FOUR #28
We know that you know that we have said that Fantastic Four with Ryan North (aka Unbeatable Squirrel Girl & Dinosaur Comics’ Ryan North) is great and you should be reading it. But very soon we are going to fall into One World Under Doom as Doom is now the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth, and if you don’t have time for all the backstory, you better start here.
DOCTOR DOOM & ROCKET RACCOON #1
Easily the most fun title to say this week is this one shot before we head into One World Under Doom. In this standalone Rocket finds himself in Latveria to ask for a favour. This is actually not the first time the Guardians and Doom have crossed paths with Doom one time being a guardian while defeating Dormammu from possessing Ego the Living Planet.
ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #4
A lot of people are hot for the Absolute Universe from DC with Absolute Batman getting most of the attention so we thought we better come back and tell you what the best book so far is – and it is Wonder Woman. Only a couple of issues in but the last Amazon born in the underworld who has a big sword and rides the skeleton of Pegasus brought back to life to fight monsters is a book you should get.
VOID RIVALS #17
You know that Transformers was already the Eisner Award winning book for 2024 as best ongoing but have you made time to pickup Void Rivals? Set against the same Energon Universe Void Rivals started out with 2 pilots from opposing worlds at war finding out they don’t look all that different, now has Transformers like Hot Rod and Springer appearing on their world looking for Energon.
RESURGENCE VALIANT FINALE ONE SHOT
And lastly if you picked up the Valiant Universe Resurgence one shot starting book you probably want to find the ending this week hitting shelves too. Valiant has started to make a come back and this is the book that will tell you what happens next for one of the other big shared universes that didnt make it out of the 90s.
