SHADOW OF THE GOLDEN CRANE #1
Starting with a new year and a little Hellboy drawn in the Michael Avon Oeming style that we love for HB so much. This is classic Hellboy with him accompanying another agent into a case he has not a lot of idea about as it unfolds across time from this 1960s BRPD casefile.
BEHEMOTH #1
You know that Stallone movie where he is trapped in an underground tunnel with a lot of civilians he needs to save? Picture that but it’s a bus load of civilians. And it’s not a tunnel but they got swallowed by a Kaiju. And there is probably no Stallone. That is what this book is coming to you from Dark Horse comics this week.
ROGUE: THE SAVAGE LAND #1 (OF 5)
If you had to describe 90s X-Men comics with a single words that word would be… horny. Now following the trend of retelling stories from older X-Men eras Rogue: The Savage Land aims to answer the question of, can you make a 5 issue story out of one of the most remembered 90s X-Men panels? But you are probably going to pick it up to be sure anyway.
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #1 (OF 12)
The Ultimate Universe continues to grow with Spider-Man being one of the BEST books of 2024 so heading into 2025 you might want to pickup Ultimate Wolverine. He is still the best at what he does, but what he does is act as an enforcer for part of the Maker’s world order. Slated for 12 issues does give us an insight into how far the Ultimate Universe will go.
