Spider-Man: Far from Home Teaser Trailer goes European Vacation

It took a little while but it’s finally here. After appearing exclusively at a South American ComicCon late last year and successfully NOT leaking online, very early this morning we got our first full teaser trailer for the new Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Produced by Sony and Marvel to allow Spider-Man to be part of the MCU (Yay!) the new film is set after Infinity War Part 2/Avengers: End Game with a considerably less dusted Spider-Man. While we originally had thought the title was referring to Spider-Man being left on Titan during the snap where he “died” the new teaser trailer seems kick off with Spidey at home in Queens preparing for a European school trip.

From the trailer, we can tell things are going pretty well for Spidey with Aunt May knowing his secret and getting to be a regular high school kid. It’s when he heads to Europe that he has his Iron Man end credits sequence Nick Fury moment. While the sequence of events may be off in the trailer we get to see snippets of a new Stealth suit before a lot of Hydro-Man, what seems to be a Sandman and possibly a Fire-like man. But without a question, this trailers big reveal is Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio.

Appearing both with and without the fishbowl helmet in a very true to the comics outfit we see Quentin Beck appearing like “Iron Man and Thor” rolled into one fighting Hydro-Man in the canals of Venice. While only a snippet being a teaser trailer we have no doubt there is more to him in the movie than this heroic introduction.

But what do you think? With Nick Fury and Maria Hill appearing does this mean Daisy Johnson and AoS could appear? Is that really Sandman also in the Trailer? Does the entire film actually take place inside the Soul Stone? Will the European vacation not be complete without a little ‘Holiday Road’? If Spidey went to Germany in Captain America Civil War how does he not have a passport already? Let us know in the comments down below.
