Happy Cos-Friday Everybody! This week we bring you Sydney-based Cosplayer (who is currently not in Sydney) Brontology Cosplay!

What’s your name & how old are you? Bronte, 25

How long have you been cosplaying? I have been cosplaying for 5 years, but I started seriously cosplaying and created my page 2 years ago

What inspired you to start cosplaying? I have always loved dressing up, and I was actually unaware what cosplay was until I was invited to Supanova in Sydney 2012. I wore my first cosplay that year as well. I considered making a page back then but was too nervous that people wouldn’t like what I did. It wasn’t until 2015 I decided that it didn’t matter what people think. I love it.

What was your First Cosplay? My first cosplay was bought – Ezio from Assassins Creed. My first homemade costume was Poison Ivy. My first cosplay as Brontology Cosplay was Darth Maul.

What is your most recent cosplay? My latest cosplay was Lara Croft. I haven’t worn it to a convention but I did an amazing photoshoot with Graeme Patterson around Northern Ireland.

What cosplays are you currently working on? I have a Poison Ivy and Wonder Woman underway, but I haven’t decided what I’m what I’m wearing to Dublin Comic Con yet. But it will be something different. I’ve been focusing on small Cosplays as I have been travelling around Europe and living in the UK until I fly back to Australia in 2018.

Who are your favourite cosplayers in the community? The 3 that stand out most to me are Courtoon, Yeliz Cosplay and Nookills Cosplay. All 3 are just so talented.

Who else do you want to cosplay? I have a really long list on my phone of Cosplays I want to do, so I’ll just name 2. Medusa with her snake hair and tail, and Bombshell Hawkgirl. I have a few League of Legends characters I will do back in Australia and I have a special Elektra stored away ready to be finished back home too.

Tell us an odd fact about yourself! Haha well, I can’t actually whistle properly but I can touch my tongue to my nose.
