Red Dead Redemption 2 moves to a 2018 Release

With E3 2017 less than a month away we were really not expecting any Rockstar/Red Dead 2 news until mid-June but in true Rockstar fashion news has dropped that Red Dead 2 will be a 2018 release.

We think that pretty much everyone was looking forward to a late 2017 release of the title after the announcement and initial teaser trailers showing up in October stating a Fall 2017 worldwide release. But with a press release put out by Rockstar overnight the title has been pushed from Fall 2018 to Spring 2017.

In the release, Rockstar do reaffirm that the title will be released for PS4 and Xbox One but will this 2018 push mean a Scorpio related announcement for the title?

Regardless, with Rockstars track record it’s hard to fault them if they say they need more time to put out a quality game, and hey, it does give you more time to drag out your last gen and replay the original (well 2nd) Red Dead.

But what do you think? Is there more at play here with the delay? Are you happy with delays if it means a less glitchy product? Or would you rather get your hands on it early and sweat through the patches? Tell us in the comments down below!
