Two Bit Movie Club Fleischer Fest - 1930's Animated Shorts

Join us for Fleischer Fest, a closed door special edition of the Two Bit Movie Club where we celebrate the 1930’s cartoons of Fleischer Studios. Boots and Jungles will showcase a 90 minute lineup of their favourite Fleischer shorts, consisting of nightmares and oddities with special guests Betty Boop, Popeye, Bimbo and Koko the Clown. We’ll also be chatting about the history of the studio of why these cartoons stack up against the Disney and Warner Bros heavyweights of the time. Last year we saw the style of animation launch back into the world with the amazing game ‘Cuphead’ by Studio MDHR.

As a special extra for this edition, every attendee will receive a Fleischer Studio ‘Small Fry’ enamel pin by Luke Shield (www.lukeshield.com).
