Super Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament

Join us as the Netherworld ventures for the first time into a modern console tournament for the best of all reasons – SUPER SMASH BROS ULTIMATE! We’ll be hosting a 48 player knock out tournament on Nintendo Switch featuring the latest edition of Smash – hopefully you’ve had a few months to practice. We’ll have almost as many pro controllers as there are playable characters, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own if it brings you luck (offical regular, pro or gamecube style controllers with attachments only please). Each entry comes with a drink and limited edition Smash Kirby enamel pin designed by Luke Shield. There’ll be brilliant Smash themed prizes for the top 3 players including $500 cash for 1st place! Entry is $20 and can be grabbed via supersmashnetherworld.eventbrite.com.au. It happens from midday to 5pm on Sunday the 3rd of March.

Format:

Five strikes.

Players will play single matches in groups of 4 over many rounds.

If you come 1st, you get no strikes.
If you come 2nd or 3rd, you get one strike.
If you come 4th, you get two strikes.

Accumulate five strikes and you’re out.

Once we reach the top 8, we’ll enter a 1v1 tournament best of 3 bracketed knock out elimination.
