Comics Pull List – April 3

If you have been loosely keeping up with the current state of the new Gold and Black Venom who is definitely not Dylan Brock and also not Eddie Brock then you might know there is a whole Who is the Red Hulk situation playing out with Al Ewing’s new book. If you are reading this you are on the internet and it might already be spoiled, but this is the book where the new Venom is revealed.

If you are a long time Daredevil reader you probably have a favourite writer or artist or two that has done a run on this character (and likely will never return because that’s how things work) but if Charles Soule was one of your favs then this week Cold Day in Hell is giving you a 3 issue mini series with your favourite writer as a secret convoy explodes in Hells Kitchen filling it with gas.

If you are a long time reader (or even a hardcore Deadpool fan who has gone through the Marvel Unlimited app) you might have hit on the wall breaking Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe. This and The Punisher vs The Marvel Universe + a few more were the answer to the question that is carried over and over on the internet of – could X beat Y. This is the conclusion to the long trilogy that started with Deadpool killing his own Universe, then again in another Universe now… well just pick it up to find out – oh and this follows in the MAX legacy for graphic violence FYI.

Like Jeff the Landshark #1 this week we are getting a collection of #1 to #6 of the Marvel Rivals digital comic in hardcover form. If you are playing the game this is probably something that will appeal to you but if you like else worlds stories it is still pretty solid (if you do not have the Marvel Unlimited App and already read it). Also this week if you are a fan of Luna Snow who is the only original character in Marvel Rivals the game, she makes her Marvel Comics debut in Concert of Champions #1 alongside Dazzler and more out this week.

You want more ongoing Absolute DC Books? Ok then one more then we probably need to cut you off for a bit with Absolute Green Lantern #1 out this week. Coming from All-New Venom (and you know a lot of other stuff) writer Al Ewing this is a new Universe and there is no Corps so what is a Green Lantern in this alternate DC Universe.

For your non-big two book to read this week so you can feel good about diversifying your comic reading we might suggest checking out Image Comics with I was a Fashion School Serial Killer. The title pretty much gives it away but Rennie Bethary has been accepted into a new prestigious New York fashion school for her edge designs that are made of human flesh… because she is a serial killer.

Mitch Shelly aka the Resurrection Man has lived thousands of lives and each time he dies he comes back to life with a new superpower. Mitch has not been seen too much since the New52 began with initially getting his own series but since then not a lot – but that could change a little with Ram V (who is also writing New Gods for DC) on this book. If you are a Mitch Shelly fan you get new Resurrection Man and if you are a Ram V fan, maybe you are getting a bit more.
