But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
And starting the last week of the October as we head towards the end of the gaming year is the newest edition of the annual dance franchise Just Dance 2024. Whether you like to dance with friends or just really invested in the backstory between Rasputin and The Bride you will be able to pick this up for PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch on Tuesday.
Jumping ahead to Thursday is the sequel to the kinetic actionfest of Ghostrunner with Ghostrunner 2. This one came from 505 Games who were behind Control and just dialled up the action aspects of their previous games up to 13 as you are a sort of Cyberpunk Ninja (and playing somewhat similar to how you can now in 2077 with the updates). If you were looking to return to this game you can grab it on PlayStation on Thursday with Xbox, Steam and the Epic Store releases on Friday.
After more than a decade and just in time for Halloween gaming this week is Alan Wake 2 coming to the PlayStation and Epic Store on Friday with the Xbox release on Saturday. Continuing to follow the thriller novelist Alan Wake who has <spoilers> for the last 13 years this one has you playing as either Alan or FBI Agent Saga giving you alternate opening and endings to the game.
Honourable Mention: And we have two honourable mentions this week with the first being Dave the Diver for it’s Nintendo Switch release on Thursday. This one has been going off with streamers for the last few weeks with the Steam release from June. Play as Dave who runs a sushi restaurant by night and is a diver by day – this fun adventure RPG is the type of game you got the Switch for (after Mario & Zelda of course)
And a second honourable mention this week for some more adventure on Steam with Three Minutes to Eight for PC gamers. Coming out on Tuesday we just love adventure/puzzle games and pixel art so this one really got us with those. But look at it, it looks good.
