Racing Jetboats, play the role of an investigative journalist against a town of evolving AI, snake but as a platformer and manage your own card store inside of a card game are all in your gaming week this week. But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
Starting on Tuesday is the boat racing of Swordship coming to Switch and Steam first with Xbox releasing on Thursday. What is Swordship? You are a tiny fast board that needs to avoid and destroy enemies but you have no weapons so you need to use your enemies weapons against them.
Tuesday return to the deceptive stealth horror hidden by cartoonish graphics with Hello Neighbour 2. Following in the steps of the previous game where you try to sneak into your neighbours home to learn their secret with an evolving AI opponent, the sequel kicks it up several notches with not only an entire town of AI to interact with as you play the role of an investigative journalist, but also this time the AI is learning from all players not just you. Get it on Steam first on Tuesday with Xbox releasing on Wednesday.
And on Thursday Togges is an open world (ish) update to the Snake or Tron style game where you use your tail as a platforming boost. Honestly it just looks like a bit of fun and its coming to Xbox, Nintendo Switch and via Steam, oh and it’s also from the same publisher as Swordship.
Honourable Mention: And our honourable mention this week goes to the Switch port of a game from one of the developers behind Desert Child (one of the first games on our Indie Arcade). Kardboard Kings is a card based game but where you manage a card shop and can deal for cards to sell or to mprove your own collection. This one has been out on Steam for a while now but this week makes its way to the Switch which is the perfect platform for this.
