Stop crime, do crime, explore alien worlds and abandoned towns, the final season of warzone and get a peak of what is to come for Splatoon all this week for your gaming pleasure. But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
Need a little less Grand Theft in your Auto? The over the top not-GTA GTA is back on next-gen this Tuesday with Saints Row. Not a continuation of the previous 4 games in the series this one serves as more of a reboot while still sticking with the crime in an open world formula as you wreck havoc across the 9 districts of not-Las Vegas. This is out on PlayStation, Xbox and PC (Retail and the Epic Games Store) on Tuesday.
Midnight Flight Express was previously shown off last year as part of GamesCom and this week it is dinally getting a release. Not quite Sifu but this isometric brawler/shooter has you fighting across the entire city to stop a criminal takeover (and it still looks pretty good). Grab it on Steam on Tuesday or PlayStation this Wednesday.
If you need a little light adventure then Like No Other has you as a man who has left it all behind in this adventure/puzzle title out for Steam and Nintendo Switch this Thursday with Xbox on Friday. Following in a more cartoonish style you play as Dan who is looking to solve the legend of the twin books in the abandoned town of Red Pines.
In I Was a Teenage Exocolonist your parents have left earth to start a new life with you on the colony planet of Verturmna IV for you to explore and make a new life. This is part life simulator, part deck builder, part roleplay and with a dash of date simulator all rolled into one and out for PlayStation, Steam and Nintendo Switch on Friday.
Honourable Mention: And our honourable mention this week goes to some free DLC (providing you already own Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone) with Call of Duty: Warzone: Last Stand out this Thursday/Friday. The fifth and final season for both games throws together with changes to existing maps in the form of lava coming down from mountain peaks but also new maps that include taking cover behind the decapitated head of the Statue of Liberty. Oh and did we mention there are now demons to go with the zombies?
And as a double feature of honourable mentions this week is from Thursday you can download Splatoon 3 ahead of it’s world premiere on Sunday. Coming out on September 9th this will let you enjoy some free sneak preview on your Nintendo Switch before the games full release next month.
