Play as the only Cat in a city, or the last adult Fox on earth, race the hot wheels track across Mexico and some hyperkinetic non-stop motion shooters are all ahead of you for your week in gaming. But before we get to the full list, here are your highlights:
Start your week with clearly the GOTY where you play as a cat. Stray is a platformer we saw first last year where you take the role of a cat in a city full of robots. Run, jump, knock stuff off edges, meow (seriously do that 100 times there is an achievement), be a cat. Stray is coming out o Tuesday first for PlayStation and also Wednesday via Steam.
If being a cat is not your thing then try being a mother Fox in Endling: Extinction is Forever. Also coming out on Tuesday this one is headed out on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and via Steam. Look after your Kits (that’s another name for Baby Foxes) at the end of the world as the last mother Fox on earth.
Forza Horizon 5 you know, the racing car series most recently released set against Mexico now adds what every racing game needs – Hot Wheels tracks. Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is technically DLC and not a completely new standalone game but with the variety of tracks it adds it might as well be. Pick up this Xbox exclusive on Thursday.
Honourable Mention: And for our honourable mention this week it’s something for the Xbox and Switch gamers – Severed Steel. Previously released on other platforms this one is like Mirrors Edge as a First Person Shooter this is not something for anyone with motion sickness. It’s out first on Nintendo Switch on Thursday followed by Xbox on Saturday.
