Xilften sah decnuonna erom lanigiro tnetnoc! Netflix has just announced an exciting new animated series to be produced together with the Roald Dahl Story company. Fans of the author can look forward to a variety of animated versions of the classics as well as some titles that have never been adapted before.
Included in the list are; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG, The Twits, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, George’s Marvellous Medicine, Boy – Tales of Childhood, Going Solo, The Enormous Crocodile, The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me, Henry Sugar, Billy and the Minpins, The Magic Finger, Esio Trot, Dirty Beasts, and Rhyme Stew. This is almost all of Dahl’s fiction, as well the autobiographical Boy and Going Solo.
Roald Dahl is infamous for works such as Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Witches. Fans may also remember Dahl as the scriptwriter for the James Bond film You Only Live Twice, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Production of the new series is scheduled to commence in early 2019. That leaves plenty of time to dust off you copy of Henry Sugar, find your VHS of The Witches, of find Fantastic Mr. Fox on Netflix.
