You don’t need to be wearing the brown pants to be excited for Deadpool 2 hitting cinemas in the next few months. After the awesomeness of the first movie whose R-Rated goodness was no doubt a contributing factor for Logan we are so on board for anything more from our favourite Red Latex clad Healing Factor Mutant Hitman. And overnight DP delivered with a new full length trailer.
Yes full length. As in all the length. All of it.
Previously we had gotten the Bob Ross Deadpool Trailer and the Cable/Action Figures Trailer and with Deadpool being the master of social media we have been waiting for more. This latest trailer shows off a lot more of the film and motivations, and while we do not think that DP will cross into the X-Men/First Class timeline with characters from the comics the new trailer definitely has a lot more X-Force about it.
For anyone who doesn’t know X-Force is a little team that Deadpool used to be on. First appearing in the New Mutants (which is getting a film also this year) X-Force is a group with a more aggressive approach to it’s enemies as opposed to the X-Men. From the new trailer we can see a number of Comic/X-Force including Domino, Teenage Negasonic Warhead, Shatterstar, Colossum and Terry Crews who we think is Bedlam, are easily identifiable (is that Fantomex’s white leg?). X-Force is long rumoured to still be under development so depending how this goes we may see a straight spin off for the team.
