The Mandalorian is here with the launch of Disney+, Charlies Angels reboots and Collector Fairs to help you get started on your Christmas shopping is all ahead of you as we head towards the end of 2019. Here is your guide to everything happening this week in Geek across Australia.
Starting in Streaming this week is a good time to reassess your streaming accounts with the launch of Disney+ for Australia on Tuesday. We already know most of Phase 4 for the MCU is going to be on Disney+ on top of all the Disney movies and shows we already love (including some 90s X-Men) but on launch day we get to enjoy the brand new live-action Star Wars show – The Mandalorian. If that doesn’t tempt you we don’t know what will.
In cinemas this week it’s popcorn reboot fun with the next reboot of Charlies Angels in Cinemas across Australia from Thursday. You can expect our full spoiler-free review out later this week but we are going to find it hard to top Bill Murray as Bosley.
3Stuff To Go Do
We are in the home stretch for 2019 but that doesn’t mean you can pack up and go home yet as there is still 6 weeks of geekdom to cover and it starts this weekend with Collector Con in Sydney for all your Christmas shopping needs. From MOTU figures to Supernatural Pops you can find gifts for the whole family here this Sunday.
If you jump over to Wagga Wagga next you can combine your love of LEGO with helping out some great charities with the Wollongong LEGO User Group Brick Spectacular. This fan LEGO event has some great builds from some talented LEGO builders with over 50 tables worth of builds.
