Second Avengers End Game Confirms Everything and Nothing

If you are like us, you have been up all night obsessing over every part of the next Avengers Endgame trailer that was dropped late last night. While every piece of Endgame fills in a little more the new trailer has mastered the art of complete hype without giving away anything (or maybe everything).

In case you hadn’t guessed what we are going to say might be potential spoilers so if you are just here for the trailer scroll down and check it out now if you have not already. Otherwise here is what we know going in and what the new trailer may or may not have confirmed.

Right from the beginning of the trailer we see sections of Thor, Iron Man and Captain America’s first films with talk about going back to the start. While this might be just idle exposition it may also go a long way in confirming what fans have been talking about since leaked on-set images and Ant-Man & The Wasp – Time Travel.

In early leaked images there have been grabs of Iron Man and Ant-Man in the Battle of New York from the first Avengers movie (alongside a Captain America wearing a costume from that time in the MCU). This plus some very quantum tech looking outfits were suggesting the time vortexes mentioned by Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man & The Wasp may play a big part in reversing the snap.

The second and more minor element that this new trailer confirms is the new white uniforms appearing towards the end of the trailer. While we do not know the purpose of these exactly (except noting that both Nebula and Iron Man seem to be sporting them despite the trailer suggesting they are stranded in space, so small spoiler that they are rescued), these suits were also leaked previously as part of a tabletop RPG set promo image from South America.

The last spoiler the trailer confirms is not really a spoiler for anyone who has seen Captain Marvel is Carol is with the Avengers on Earth after being called by Fury in the Infinity War end credits scene. It might be just the way the trailer is cut together but this is the only appearance of Captain Marvel which means she does miss out on one of those Avengers white suits.

And that’s pretty much it. With Avengers Endgame less than 6 weeks away (or 3-4 MCU movies to rewatch a week until then) the new trailer is almost perfect for anyone wanting to go into Endgame cold. With the film’s directors/writers the Russos being known for red herrings and false leads (Civil War shooting multiple endings with 3 different deaths) everything we have said could be completely off but we won’t know that until April 24th.

The full trailer is below for you to rewatch and obsess over much like us and then head to the comments to tell us what you think. Do you have your own Endgame theory? Are you expecting a Fantastic end credits sequence as we go into Phase 4 which is only going to be announced after Spider-Man: Far from Home? Will Squirrel Girl make her MCU debut and actually be the one to defeat Thanos (it’s canon!)? Let us know down below.
