Robin Hood, you know who that is, with over 200 hits if you search in IMDB you might not be that excited for any more films with the archer who inspired the likes of Green Arrow and Hawkeye (including Robin Hood 2058 with Robin being a MI5 agent in a dystopian future). But the new trailer for the latest Robin Hood film due later this year has definitely got our interest.
Directed by Otto Bathurst responsible for Peaky Blinders and the first episode of Black Mirror the new Robin Hood trailer was not what we expected with a HUGE cast including Jamie Foxx in front and Kingsman’s Taron Egerton playing Robin. Feeling a little like a Guy Richie film for action (without the motion sickness of King Arthur) we get some feel for the film in the trailer and even a quick look at Australian Rogue One actor Ben Mendelsohn who is not the only Australia actor in the film with comedian Tim Minchin also to appear.
While not the only news we will have this week with San Diego Comic-Con about to start which we will be giving you full recaps of each day to keep you up to speed this is definitely a good start.
