First up if you need a new furry best friend you may want to get to the Brisbane Exhibition Grounds for the RSPCAs annual Big Adopt Out Day. There are a lot of animals that need a forever home so if one is with you then get along.

For anyone who knows the world actually sits on the back of a giant turtle the Brisbane Arts Theatre brings you some Terry Pratchett with Lords and Ladies. This adaption performance starts this Saturday in Brisbane and runs through to the 21st of October.

If you love LEGO then there are two big events for you this weekend, in Brisbane BrickResales have a sale of over 100kgs of LEGO with 1200 minifigs! Meanwhile further south you can get to the Gold Coast Brick Event is this Saturday and Sunday for you to book online or pickup tickets at the door.

Lastly for your Brisbane you can add to your Netherworld pin collection at Netherworld Arcade Club‘s Street Fighter 2 session this Saturday.

If you are all warmed up on Street Fighter 2 at Brisbane‘s Netherworld head back there on Sunday for the Hadouken! Street Fighter II Championship + Retrospective not only can you win a sweet limited edition black pin but the overall winner will get a $500 cash prize!
