Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Adventures

Back to the Future, The Walking Dead, Batman and now the Guardians of the frickin’ Galaxy. Telltale episodic series have had a run of success and acclaim and teased yesterday with the trailer dropping overnight we now see them enter into the Marvel Universe.

Telltale are not unfamiliar with Marvel, being behind most of the Lego Games including the Lego Avengers but this is their first ongoing series. Starting April 18 and available in Australia via Steam and the Playstation store (Xbox store to be confirmed) you will be able to play episode one of five in the series which puts you in the role of Starlord.

Much like the Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon and other Telltale series the plot takes from the popular film but the story is not considered cannon that feeds back into the MCU. We also believe from the cast list that this is set before GoTG2, which is ok because it does give us Nolan North as Rocket Raccoon carrying a gun reminiscent of his Capcom vs Marvel days.

The entire series is available for pre-order now to start playing on the 18th of April with a full collection (just like we saw for the Batman Telltale series) expected to be in retail the following month.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is released in Australian cinemas officially on April 25th & Nolan North is scheduled to appear at Supanova Gold Coast and Melbourne next month.
